The Atomic Backland UL is a ski mountaineering helmet made especially for Skimo athletes and ski mountaineers who need to combine protection and comfort with maximum lightness. The Hybrid EPP In-Mold construction is durable, lightweight and extremely secure. Under the shell, the Holo Core and AMID (Atomic Multi-directional Impact Deflector) systems reduce weight to a minimum, but still offer 40% more impact protection than industry safety standards. The helmet is also MNC-certified for skiing, climbing and cycling, with a lightweight Skimo liner perfect for hiking in winter and long rides in summer. It is made of 43% recycled material. And like all Backland models, it features small details that make all the difference such as the head torch attachment, removable strap and reflectors.
