BD Black diamond ATC Guide Alpine is a bucket insurer designed for mountaineering. Lighter and more compact than the classic ATC Guide, the Alpine version has also been revised by lightening it.

It accepts ropes with a diameter between 6.9 mm and 9 mm but is optimized for diameters between 8.1 and 8.5 mm.

With ATC Guide it is possible to secure one or two seconds and do abseiling.
