BD Black Diamond Camalot Z4 is a climbing friend, a true innovation in the world of climbing for the year 2020!
Made with the precious collaboration of great athletes such as Hazel Findlay, Carlo Traversi, Sam Elias and Babsi Zangerl, the Z4 responds to a great need that all the more experienced climbers had by now.
Z4 is in fact formed by a single stem with a particular technology waiting to be patented RigidFlex. This allows the stem to keep it rigid when the friend is in tension or retracts while flexing when it is in position in the rock.
Once positioned, in fact, the stem moves without however making the friend’s cams walk: it remains exactly where you put it.
For larger sizes the stem has a double twisted cable structure that allows uniform flexion. For smaller sizes, however, the construction is a single cable and made more resistant to always guarantee excellent safety.
Finally, the thickness of the head is very similar to the old Camalot C3.
