DMM’s Bulldog is a tensile anchor suitable for winter terrain. It can also be inserted into ice holes created by your ice axe and can also be hammered into cracks and joints like a piton.

A long flat plate on the back of the Bulldog creates a good area for hammering as well, making placements quick and easy. The long handle allows leverage to easily pull the Bulldog out of tricky placements and also houses a stretchable webbing that helps reduce rope drag on challenging winter pitches.
The profile is reminiscent of an ice axe, with rear-facing teeth that help the Bulldog bite through turf and icy crevices. The Bulldog reaches 15kN in laboratory tests.
