DMM Grippy Grip Tape is a roll of 20 mm wide insulation tape to be glued around the handle of your ice ax.

For the Griptape, after removing the white part, proceed from the bottom with the taping taking care to overlap the tape on the lower layer for about half the surface at each turn; the tape is a self-sealing tape, therefore without glue, it should be slightly held in tension during taping so that the tape grips on itself. The final part must be closed with one or two turns of electrical tape or an electrician.
