The designers used Vibram® Megagrip on the outsole, considered the ultimate performance material in competitive events. For the first time, the Ultra 100 GTX features new Vibram Traction Lugs. This innovative four-millimeter lug design provides improved traction and perfect grip, ensuring stability and precision on any terrain. The cushioned midsole offers lightness and responsiveness without excess weight. The new material is 20% lighter than a traditional EVA midsole and returns over 10% of energy. The anatomical heel construction and Heel Preloader provide solid support and stability, optimizing control while reducing strain on the Achilles tendon. The rocker shape of the sole allows for a dynamic, smooth roll, supporting agility even in the final kilometers when fatigue sets in. The Ultra 100 GTX has a classic lacing system that adjusts perfectly to individual needs.
