The Edelrid HMPE Cord Sling is a pre-stitched lanyard loop perfect for rope manoeuvres on multi-pitch routes such as prusik creation.

The inside of this lanyard is made of HMPE, an innovative fibre considered the strongest in the world. It is also very smooth and soft, consequently also more resistant to abrasion than classic Kevlar.

Compared to Kevlar, it is also much more resistant to ultraviolet light and moisture… all with a much lighter fibre, which is a win-win for us climbers!
