In fact, this Brenta guide is not the only one. It is the last of five volumes which, through the rock paths, take us inside the Brenta Dolomites, it makes us experience them already sitting down with one of the books in hand. Of course the creator was truly a Great, because, in addition to searching, which is not easy, all the routes of the dozens of peaks and faces, he contacted and met the first ascentionists. And he argued with them. I don’t think it was an easy “thing”, knowing well the mountaineers from Trentino and beyond. Taking photos, drawing what we call “the sketches”, and drawing up the reports. For more than ten years there had been talk of the new Brenta guide. Francesco, thanks to his obstinacy and determination, the same ones used on the wall, managed to complete a monumental work, a point of reference for all mountaineers.
