Kong Back-Up + 412.ZZ 802.100 fall-arrester Black/Orange Cheap

The Kong Back-Up + 412.ZZ 802.100 version 8021 fall arrester is designed for use on metal structures, rope work, confined spaces, arboriculture, sailboats, roofs and inclined planes.

Unlike the 8020 version, the new Back-Up is certified both CE and ANSI. You have two certifications in a single article and this allows you to extend its use, by connecting the device to the CE connectors and to ANSI positioning connectors and lanyards depending on the use you have to make of them.

The operation remains the same: Back-Up follows the operator at altitude, uphill, downhill and in position changes and stops any falls automatically blocking.

A special button allows you to position yourself on the anchor line, locking in one direction and sliding freely in the opposite direction.

The non-toothed cam protects the rope from trauma and allows the device to act on even substantial stresses in a semi-dynamic manner.

Back-Up comes equipped with a double-action steel ovalone carbon twist lock. It works with ropes from 10 to 12 mm in diameter.

This new version is no longer suitable for mountaineering with the elimination of the EN 567: 97 certification, while the EN 12841 / B: 06 certification has been updated with the increase of the user’s weight from 100 to 120 kg.
In addition, the EAC marking was also added for sale in Russia.
