La Sportiva Akyra GTX is a trail running shoe for men, waterproof with a Gore-Tex membrane that keeps you dry at all times. It is designed for longer endurance routes such as Ultra Trails and Ultra Marathon in the winter months and therefore excellent for longer use on all off-road roads.

This shoe is very comfortable thanks to several features present in the upper, made with three layers. The first is an Ultra Comfort AirMesh that gives, in fact, a comfortable fit. Then we find an application in MicroLite Skeleton thermo-adhesive microfiber that gives flexibility to the shoe and at the same time maintains its shape over time. Finally, in the outer part there are further applications in microfiber (Flex-Guard) that protect the shoe from abrasion against rock and branches while keeping the shoe light without weighing it down too much.

Akyra is a shoe with an unprecedented stability given by the TrailCage System. This is placed between two layers of the upper and connects to the lacing system, also giving the shoe structure and a very snug fit.

Finally, the sole is a Fixion HF compound with Impact Brake System to improve the cushioning and Trail Rocker system to facilitate the classic foot roll during the race.
