La Sportiva Solar are men’s ski mountaineering boots designed for those who are looking for an excellent boot both uphill and downhill.

Its lightness and the wide range of movement between the shell and cuff make it ideal for climbing. As for the descent, however, the locking system is very simple and safe.

The materials used are very resistant, both the shell and the cuff are made of Pebax, a particular plastic that allows to reduce the thickness and the final weight of the product.

The cuff has an inclination of 68 °, also made possible by the EZ Flex Overlap Tongue and by the joint in the instep part. This wide range allows excellent mobility, perfect for making even quick movements.

The closure system is very simple and fast: in the cuff there are a buckle and a velcro (Easy 2 Wear), while in the instep you will find a buckle (Spider Buckle EVO). This allows a fantastic adjustment of the internal volumes so as to make the boot comfortable and adaptable to any type of foot.

The transition from ski to walking mode is very fast and thanks to the SWING-LOCK Closure System hook avoids the exposure of metal parts to wear and bumps.
