The Mammut 8.7 Crag Sender Dry Rope is a climbing rope with triple single, half and twin rope approval. It is therefore perfect for experienced climbers looking for a high-performance rope as well as for mountaineers looking for a half rope that is not too thin.

Crag Sender weighs only 51 grams per metre and is therefore ideal for those who work hard at crags, especially long routes. In fact, when you have to rappel at a height of 30 metres, the weight of the rope you have to lift really makes a difference!

This version is equipped with Dry treatment, which not only repels water but also dirt. It absorbs much less dust, lasting much longer than a classic rope without treatment and also swelling much less over time.

It should be noted that the Dry treatment usually stiffens the ropes slightly. Mammut has renewed its entire range of ropes by revising all the treatments and succeeded in producing Dry ropes that are very very soft to the touch, even softer than classic ropes.
