SCARPA Rapid Mid GTX WMN are women’s approach shoes designed to move quickly on mountainous terrain and to keep the foot dry even in the rain. They are also able to ensure maximum ankle protection during technical trails, when approaching the wall to be climbed, as well as being easy to attach to the harness and performing on steep and fast descents.

The upper is in a waterproof and abrasion resistant technical fabric with an external TPU cage. The mesh collar and the anti-pressure tongue guarantee comfort and protection in the most sensitive areas of the foot, also protected by the shock-absorbing rubber toe. The fit is precise and enveloping especially in the heel and instep area, thanks also to the GORE-TEX Invisible Fit technology which, light and perfectly integrated into the upper, keeps the foot dry in the event of rain and bad weather.

The Agility sole combines an EVA midsole with different densities capable of cushioning impacts and increasing comfort with a Vibram Megagrip tread featuring a climbing zone. Stability is improved by a TPU insert placed in the medial area. While the Dynamic Protection System (DPS) has been inserted in the forefoot to improve propulsion and responsiveness.
