SCARPA Ribelle Tech 3 HD is a light and extremely snug mountaineering boot. This boot, renewed compared to the previous version, was in fact designed for even more technical faster mountaineering.

Studied down to the smallest detail, as soon as you put on the Ribelle Tech 3 HD you will realize that you are wearing a technical but at the same time very comfortable shoe.

The external upper is made of knit, a knitted fabric that allows for different densities depending on the area in a single piece. That’s why you find a gaiter integrated with the upper: elastic, comfortable and seamless that prevents water and dirt from penetrating inside. Also noteworthy is the presence in all the yarns of Polartec Windbloc which protects against all atmospheric agents while guaranteeing excellent breathability.

Thanks to the HDry system, Ribelle Tech is highly waterproof but also breathable. This type of membrane blocks water in its outer layer thus keeping your feet safe.

Turning instead to the sole / midsole package, we find a very thin polypropylene and fiberglass insole with different thicknesses. This manages to give the right comfort, the right stiffness and the right stability to the fit and is also equipped with an Ortholite O-Therm insole that offers an excellent thermal barrier.

The sole, on the other hand, was designed and patented by SCARPA. Precision Tech Roll is thin and light but very precise, fast and comfortable.

As for the tread? It could only be Vibram. Grip guaranteed with the Vibram Mont compound.

Finally, the lacing system, very different from the previous version, as well as being protected by a thin layer of PU, is derived from trail running. In fact, the laces slide easily and adjust in a single movement. In the ankle, on the other hand, there is a Velcro band that you can adjust as you like, which supports during climbing and gives comfort when walking.
