Versante Sud Dolomiti Senza Confini is the trekking guide of the high Dolomite via ferrata, an incredible itinerary that cancels borders and brings together 12 via ferratas and 17 alpine refuges in a single circular route, overcoming provincial, national and linguistic borders!
This is the longest continuous route of via ferratas in the world, divided into 9 challenging stages thanks to which you can travel 125 km and 12,000 meters in altitude always immersed in the Dolomites.
The route follows the historic streets along the front of the First World War and keeping away from roads and towns, it connects the Italian provinces of Bolzano and Belluno and the Austrian province of East Tyrol.
Inaugurated 100 years after the end of the war, it is proposed as a high road in the name of peace, starting from the idea that the mountains do not represent a barrier, but a meeting place between different peoples, languages and cultures.
The author Daniel Rogger, who has always lived and worked in the Sesto Dolomites, is a profound lover and connoisseur of these territories which, thanks to his work as an Alpine Guide, helps to enhance and promote.
