Versante Sud Verona Rock Falesie is a climbing guide for crags dedicated to sports climbing between Lake Garda, Monte Baldo, the Adige Valley, Valpollicella, Valpantena and Lessinia.
Verona Rock Falesie was born from the previous edition of Monte Baldo Rock. With the desire to succeed in what the previous authors had attempted in vain, Giovanni Avesani, Massimo Bursi, Fabio De Marchi, Claudio Migliorini, Diego Perotti, Giuseppe Vidali and Nicola Zorzi availed themselves of the active and participative contribution of many Veronese bolters and climbers, a synergy that finally led to the creation of the first guidebook that includes the entire province of Verona.
Verona Rock Falesie is a complete and clear description of all the most frequented crags, such as the historic Ceredo and Sengio Rosso, but also includes more recent or minor spots, known only to local climbers. Beautiful natural landscapes, such as the canyon of the Adige River or the Lessini Mountains in the Little Dolomites, provide a backdrop to varied rock faces, ranging from leaning slabs to overhangs.
The best time to climb here is mid-season, although the high number of crags with many different exposures allows climbing all year round.
