ViviDolomiti DoloMITICHE Opere d’arte a cielo aperto is a climbing book where in each chapter a different mountaineer is told, in order to suggest a path to follow his tracks through the walls of a lifetime.

There are also many unpublished writings and the original reports of the first climbers, creating a valuable practical compendium for mountaineers, who will find here information and sketches of many routes never published so far. With high-resolution aerial images, it wants to be a further starting point to contemplate the beauty and majesty of the Dolomites, in the hope of igniting the dreams not only of mountaineers, but of all mountain enthusiasts.

“DoloMitiche” was born in 2011 as a video-documentary project on the history of mountaineering in the Dolomites, enriched by articles, photos and reports. Although born with virtual features, in the mind of the author Alessandro Beber it has always been a real book, and this is the necessary paper transposition, given the high testimonial value of the collected material.
